Butterlfies start life as a caterpillar*. Over time, these catepillars will eventually transform into butterflies. Butterflies often have brightly colured wings, and while at first glance you might think that butterflies have two wings, they actually have four. Butterflies don't live very long, often only for a few weeks. They feed on nectar from flowers.
