The Amazon rainforest covers most of the northwestern area of Brazil. It also covers Colombia and Peru, as well as other South American countries. The rainforest has thousands of rivers, including the Amazon River. This rainforest is named after the river, largest in the Amazon Rainforest, and most powerful. The rainforest is 5.5million square kilometres. It is a seventeen hours and fifteen minutes flight from London.
